On-site event May 7th at The Museum of Food + Drink
Come join the Salty Road at Brooklyn's Museum of Food and Drink Lab for our upcoming on-site event. We'll be bringing Rosie the old-fashioned Taffy Puller with us and plenty of fresh, delicious taffy for people to enjoy from 1-3pm on Saturday May 7th.

"Vanilla is, in truth, a mystical Mexican orchid that is so difficult to cultivate it's surprising anyone knows what it tastes like. Luckily for us, and for vanilla plants, the flavor is so good that much of the last 500 years have been dedicated to propagating and developing this tasty plant."
This is something we learned about via the current MOFAD exhibit Flavor: Making it and Fakingit. Our first salt water taffy flavor ever was Vanilla, and we continue to use real whole Vanilla beans each time we make it - no wonder it remains one of our most popular flavors! We've always known it's a special flavor but it's exciting to find out that it has such an exotic history.
There's lots to see, smell, and taste at this exhibit, we think you'll find it to be a one-of-a-kind museum experience and taffy demonstration. Hope to see you there! Vanilla: a wilder flavor than previously imagined!
